Arriving in Tanzania

Your safari adventure begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional staff and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation.

Before the safari begins, you will have a detailed briefing with your experienced safari guide. During this session, the guide will explain the itinerary, safari routines, safety guidelines, and what to expect during your game drives. Day 1 :

Arusha - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 6:30 AM and begin your drive to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, check in at Serengeti Wildlife Lodge for lunch and a short rest.

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park. Covering an impressive 12,944 km², the park is one of the largest and most famous wildlife reserves in the world. Explore the scenic Moru Kopjes in the eastern plains, where rocky outcrops provide stunning views and are often spotted with lions or leopards lounging in the sun. The park is also home to vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and other antelope species, offering a quintessential African safari experience.

Day 2 :

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Breakfast will be served at around 8:00 AM, followed by morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National Park, with a lunch and leisure break at your lodge in the mid-afternoon.

The word Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Maasai language, and the park truly lives up to its name. The central plains are home to an abundance of wildlife, including carnivores such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, which attracts predators and creates some of the most iconic wildlife scenes in the world.

The Serengeti is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries globally, with over 3 million large mammals and around 35 species of plains animals, including the Big Five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. Other commonly spotted species include hippos, giraffes, elands, impalas, baboons, and monkeys, alongside more than 500 species of birds such as eagles, vultures, secretary birds, pelicans, cranes, ibises, storks, and herons.

After a full day of unforgettable wildlife encounters and photography opportunities, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drive (approximately 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM)
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. This is the best time to witness predators in action and capture stunning photographs of the Big Five in their natural habitat.

After your morning adventure, return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Here, the famous anthropologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of Nutcracker Man and Handy Man, providing critical insights into human evolution.

Lunch will be served at Olduvai Gorge while enjoying an informative talk on the theory of evolution and the site’s archaeological significance.

Continue your journey to Ngorongoro, arriving in the late afternoon. You will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the breathtaking views from the crater rim before settling into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Thanks to its year-round water supply and abundant vegetation, the crater supports an incredible diversity of wildlife. You will encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.

Predators are also abundant, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a keen eye to spot. One of the crater’s highlights is Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner. Here, you can often observe flamingos, hippos, and a variety of water birds, adding spectacular photographic opportunities.

A picnic lunch will be served within the crater, allowing you to soak in the unique scenery. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before ascending from the crater around 5:30 PM. You will then drive to Moshi, arriving in the early evening for a hotel drop-off or transfer to the airport if your flight is scheduled the same day.
