Hike on the Shira Plateau

Make a dayhike on the Shira plateau, halfway up the famous Mount Kilimanjaro! This hike is perfect for those who want to experience the Kili, without actually going to the top. A driver takes you up to the Londorossi Gate on the westside of the mountain, at an altitude of 3,407 meters. Here your five-hour hike with an ascent of more than 1,000 meters begins, steadily up through tropical mountain forests. You might even spot some special monkeys and birds!
